Arrange in the south or southeast sector of the home to honour Agni (fire element). During festivals, place at the entrance facing outward to welcome Lakshmi. Can also line a windowsill in the east for morning light rituals.

Remove oil residue after each use with warm water and mild soap. Allow to dry completely before storing. Terracotta tray should be oiled with mustard oil annually to prevent cracking. Small hairline marks are natural.
